DR. NCHOR OKORN(PROFESSOR EMERITUS OF POLITICAL SCIENCE AT DILLARD UNIVERSITY) IS THE FOUNDER OF THE ORIGINAL AWNO CHAPTER. THE ORGANIZATION PRIDES ITSELF IN THE DIGNITY OF THE AFRICAN AND HER CONTRIBUTION TO HUMAN CIVILIZATION, AND IS DETERMINED TO ENCOURAGE PEOPLE OF AFRICAN ANCESTRY BORN IN AFRICA, AMERICA AND OTHER PARTS OF THE WORLD TO RECOGNIZE, DEVELOP, ENJOY, ENRICH AND PROMOTE THE AFRICAN CULTURE IN THE INCREASINGLY MULTIFUNCTIONAL WORLD. THIS ORGANIZATION CELEBRATES THE INTEGRITY OF THE AFRICAN PEOPLE.
The Africa World Network Organization invests in organizations with a clear mission and vision and a strong track record of results, but who have often lacked the sustainable funding to achieve that vision. In short, the African world Network Organization is seeking local leaders who are developing creative solutions to local problems.
